SAN FRANCISCO -- The Giants didn't end up having a big sale at the deadline, but they did trade enough pieces from their bullpen to add a boost to their farm system. Farhan Zaidi expects at least a couple of the acquired pieces to be options this season, with others much further away.
It's been over a week since the acquired prospects moved to their new organization and they're all now settled in and have appeared at least once for a new affiliate. Here's a rundown of where the trade deadline pickups ended up:
Jaylin Davis

SIGN UP HERE There was some speculation that Davis could join the big club when Steven Duggar went down, but the Giants want him to get a bit more time in Sacramento. He has played all three outfield positions there, picking up 11 hits in his first 26 at-bats. Davis is slugging .769 through his first eight games with his new organization.
Mauricio Dubon
The infielder went straight to Triple-A Sacramento, where he has been playing mostly shortstop, with a couple of games at second base. Dubon has eight hits in 36 at-bats for the River Cats. He hit his first homer last night.
Joe McCarthy
Acquired in a swap of minor leaguers, he also went straight to Triple-A. McCarthy has five hits in 18 at-bats for the River Cats while playing left field and right.

Prelander Berroa
The right-hander is just 19, so he joined short-season Salem-Keizer, where Hunter Bishop, Alexander Canario, Marco Luciano (as of Sunday) and others are. Berroa made his first appearance as a Giant on Friday, allowing five runs on six hits and three walks.
Kai-Wei Teng
The 20-year-old right-hander was sent to Low-A Augusta and made his debut last night, giving up three runs over four innings. Teng struck out four and walked two. Overall he has a 1.98 ERA in the minors this season with nearly a strikeout per inning and only one homer allowed.
Tristan Beck
Picked up from the Braves in the Mark Melancon deal, the right-hander allowed just one run in his San Jose Giants debut. He struck out six in 5 2/3 innings. Beck is 23 already, so you can expect the Giants to try and push him through their system over the next year.
Daniel Winkler
The other piece in the Melancon deal, he was DFA'd right away, cleared waivers and got outrighted to Triple-A. He joins Kyle Barraclough, Ryan Dull and others who are adding depth in Sacramento after the trade deadline shakeup. The 29-year-old has made two scoreless appearances for the River Cats.
