Spelling isn't everyone's strong suit. Especially when it comes to trying to spell out a complex last name like Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski's family name.

Yaz himself predicted only one player would get it right, and sure enough pitcher Logan Webb came up one letter short of nailing the correct spelling.
"Are you kidding me," Webb exclaimed after learning how close he had come.

It might become an easier name for Giants fans and players to remember now, as Yastrzemski has started off the season on a tear. He currently leads MLB with eight runs scored and has the highest offensive WAR in the league as of this writing.
The Giants might have found themselves a gem in the 29-year-old, whom they acquired from the Baltimore Orioles for a pitcher, Tyler Herb, who has yet to make his MLB debut.
