USA favored to win its first World Baseball Classic

The fourth World Baseball Classic begins on March 6 and the United States is favored to win it all, according to betting website Bovada.lv.

Japan won the first two World Baseball Classics in 2006 and 2009, and the Dominican Republic won in 2013, defeating Puerto Rico at AT&T Park in the Final.

Team USA, which features players from both the Giants (Buster Posey and Brandon Crawford) and A's (Sonny Gray), begins pool play in Miami against Columbia, Dominican Republic and Canada on March 10.
