Young fan makes impressive catch on Ruf's rocket homer

The Giants have a Gold Glover roaming the left field bleachers at Oracle Park.

Darin Ruf's booming solo home run in the top of the first inning of Friday night's game against the San Diego Padres was snagged by a young fan in the stands, who made a very impressive catch.

According to Baseball Savant, the line drive homer was clocked at 110.6 mph, making the catch that much more impressive, to say the least.

Pounding his chest and raising his arms in celebration, the young fan was fired up.

It's always a good day at the yard when you go home with a souvenir, but to make a highlight-reel catch in the bleachers will be a memory that will last this young fan a lifetime.
