The 2021 MLB Draft is in the books, and the same goes with the Futures Game. That means it's time for a shakeup of prospect rankings.
And two Giants prospects are on the rise.
The Giants still have five prospects -- Marco Luciano, Joey Bart, Heliot Ramos, Luis Matos and Kyle Harrison -- in Baseball America's top 100, with Luciano leading the way at No. 8 overall. But only two Giants prospects have gone up in the rankings following the draft.

Those two would be Bart and Matos.
Bart, 24, has played just two games with the Giants this season while crushing the ball in Triple-A for the Sacramento River Cats. Through 43 games, Bart is batting .313 with nine homers, 11 doubles and a .919 OPS. The only real knock on him right now is that he also has struck out 52 times while walking only 13 times.
The former No. 2 overall draft pick has moved up from No. 25 to No. 22 in Baseball America's latest rankings.
"Bart's MLB debut was a pretty rocky one. He needs to show more selectivity at the plate, but his power and glove are solid," Baseball America writes on Bart.

Matos, 19, is in a much different spot than Bart right now. He's nearly five years younger than Bart and three levels lower in High-A San Jose. The young center fielder also is oozing with talent and potential.
In 64 games with the San Jose Giants, Matos now is batting .305 with seven home runs and 20 doubles. He has an .808 OPS and has stolen 16 bases. Matos has jumped eight spots, from No. 78 to No. 70, in Baseball America's update.

"After an excellent first pro season in 2019, Matos impressed evaluators at instructional league -- especially after being marooned in Arizona during the pandemic -- and jumped into the Giants’ upper echelon of the system’s group of high-upside teenagers," Baseball America writes on Matos.
Fans will have to wait for Matos, but Bart could play a big role either in the second half for the Giants or as a trade chip before the July 30 deadline.
