Sea of blue fills Oracle Park stands in Dodger fan takeover

The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped the first game of the three-game series against the Giants on Friday, but it didn’t stop die-hard Dodgers fans from completely taking over Oracle Park for the second game of the series on Saturday.

While the Giants got their second straight win against their longtime rivals, their home stadium was bathed in blue and white instead of orange and black.

One section of the bleachers had the few Giants fans in the area look like the visiting fans.

That didn’t appear to bother the Giants much, as they were quickly able to take the early 2-0 lead in the second inning and held on for a 3-2 win.

Still, the amount of blue in the stands was nearly blinding.

It was as if Dodger Stadium got wheels and hopped onto Interstate-5 straight for the Bay and ended up in San Francisco.

Giants fans have one more day of the series to try and outshine LA fans on Sunday. If not, they can take a trip down south and attempt a San Francisco takeover in Dodger Stadium when Los Angeles hosts the Giants in a four-game series beginning July 21.
