Carlos Rodón hasn't been with the Giants for long, but so far he's enjoyed every bit of his time in San Francisco.
After signing a two-year deal with the Giants on March 11 almost immediately after the MLB lockout ended, Rodón quickly packed his bags and headed to Scottsdale to join his new team.
Rodón sat down with NBC Sports Bay Area's Giants host Laura Britt at spring training, where he discussed how impressed he has been with the Giants so far and when he first knew just how much the team cares for its players.

"It's a lot different from where I came from," Rodón said. "Where I came from is good, the White Sox had a good season last year, got to experience the playoffs. Coming to the Giants, they really care about their players, which is really important. The way they go about their business, very professional and everything is for the players and catered to the players.
"If we rewind to when I got here, I signed, they had two people waiting at the airport to help us with all our luggage. Just little things like that. Helped us with all our stuff, we have two kids, two cats and a lot of luggage coming from Indiana, so the first thing was that we had two people to help us when we got there. I've never really had it before so it was really cool to me ... little things like that. It's something very minuscule, but it means a lot more to my wife than me. Which is very important."
