Now that baseball is officially back, Kris Bryant is a hot name on the MLB free agency market.
Bryant was sent to the Giants last season at the trade deadline, and his unparalleled versatility and power from the right side of the plate are exactly what San Francisco desperately needed.

While Bryant checks all of the boxes, the former NL Rookie of the Year and MVP was serviceable for the Giants, and his advanced metrics align with the Farhan Zaidi philosophy, but the steep salary it will take to sign the Scott Boras client, who of course also represents Harper, seems far fetched.
There are also other intriguing names, most notably Seiya Suzuki.
