LOS ANGELES -- Gabe Kapler left Dodger Stadium on Monday in a good mood, but with some doubt about his leadoff hitter. A day later, that worry is gone.
Tommy La Stella came out of the Game 3 win early because of left Achilles tightness, something that bothered him late in the regular season, but Kapler spoke to La Stella on Tuesday and got the all-clear to keep him in the lineup.

The Giants are a win from advancing to the NLCS and Kapler said he liked the “calm, workmanlike energy” in the clubhouse before Tuesday's game.
The Dodgers have the more notable changes ahead of a must-win game for them. Gavin Lux, who nearly tied Monday's game, will start in center field, pushing A.J. Pollock to the bench. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he liked having the lefty in there against Anthony DeSclafani, and noted that Lux, a middle infielder ordinarily, should be OK defensively because Chris Taylor and Mookie Betts are so rangy in the corners. Here's their full lineup:
Walker Buehler is going on short rest for the first time in his career, and Roberts said on Tuesday that 27-year-old volunteered for the assignment after Game 2.
"Taking down as many outs as we can with the best arms available was the original thought," Roberts said. "Walker actually brought it up to us. We were late in deciding because we wanted to make sure he woke up today feeling good. Once he came in today and felt good, it was a no-brainer."
