Giants' Wade leaves with knee discomfort; initial exam positive

LaMonte Wade Jr. left the Giants' spring training game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday after coming around to score in the first inning. 

Wade led off the game with a double to right field and came around to score on back-to-back ground outs. 

He was seen limping off the field with a Giants trainer and manager Gabe Kapler provided an update after the game.

After his breakout season in 2021, Wade Jr. was projected to be one of the Giants' starting outfielders.
