Blackmon loses it, ejected on questionable call vs. Giants

Colorado Rockies right fielder Charlie Blackmon was not happy with his strike three call on Johnny Cueto's fifth strikeout of the day in the Giants' home opener Thursday at Oracle Park.

Cueto tossed a 91 mph fastball for strike three that was perfectly framed from catcher Buster Posey. It's safe to say Blackmon did not agree with home plate umpire Ben May's call.

Blackmon let his feelings be known and quickly was ejected.

"He had to know he was gonna get rung," Giants broadcaster Duane Kuiper said.

"As soon as he became pretty flamboyant with the arm, that was his key and Ben May reacted immediately," Kuiper's partner Mike Krukow said. "You called it, partner."

Cueto then struck out the next batter, C.J. Cron, on what looked like a triple shimmy from the Giants starter to end the top of the seventh inning.
