Baseball-fetching dog in Cove steals show during Giants' loss

While the Giants didn't have much fun during their 10-3 loss to the Cincinnati Reds at Oracle Park on Sunday, a certain dog was having the time of its life in McCovey Cove.

During the top of the fifth inning, NBC Sports Bay Area cameras caught a dog paddling out in the cove before being pulled into the kayak of its presumed owner.

With a baseball in its mouth, the dog clearly had just retrieved it from the frigid Bay Area water.

A few innings later, that same dog was playing a game of water fetch.

The Giants didn't connect for any Splash Hits on Sunday, but clearly this doggo would have been ready to swim after it if a player had sent a ball into McCovey Cove.
