The Yankees have "soft interest" in the Giants' outfielder, a source told Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.

The trade deadline is today at 1pm PT.

Over 104 games this season, McCutchen is hitting .258 with 10 home runs and 43 RBI.

The 31-year old will become an unrestricted free agent this winter.
