Former San Francisco Giants hero Travis Ishikawa has reportedly agreed to a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners.

Ishikawa put his place in the Giants history books forever with one hammering swing of the bat in Game 5 of the 2014 NLCS. The traveling veteran first baseman/outfielder hit a walk-off three-run home run to propel the Giants into the World Series.
Last season, Ishikawa, 32, only appeared in six games for the Giants before being designated for assignment to purchase the contract of outfielder Ryan Lollis. Ishikawa was then picked up by the Pirates, whom he spent time with in 2014 before the Giants snagged him.
Between the Giants and Pirates, Ishikawa only played in 44 games last year, hitting .206/.306/.302 with one lone home run.
Drafted by the Giants in the 21st round of the 2002 MLB Draft, Ishikawa has played for five different teams in his eight-year MLB career.

Ishikawa is a lifetime .255/.321/.391 hitter with 23 home runs. He will reportedly make $900,000 with the Mariners.
