Report: Giants ‘appear to be out' on Jay Bruce; Dodgers still in

It appears Jay Bruce won't be wearing the Orange and Black soon.

The Giants "appear to be out" on the Reds' right fielder, according to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick.

The Dodgers, Nationals and Orioles have reportedly been talking with Cincinnati about a Bruce trade.

The 29-year old is hitting .271 with 25 home runs and 79 RBI this season. He recently appeared in his third All-Star Game.

Over the Reds' recent three-game series at AT&T Park, Bruce hit four home runs against the Giants.

He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this winter.
