The Marlins don't intend to announce a new manager until after the World Series concludes, but Frisaro reports "all signs point to Mattingly" as the next manager in Miami.

Over five seasons with the Dodgers, Mattingly compiled a record of 446-363.
The Dodgers won the NL West each of the last three seasons, but advanced out of the NLDS just once, in 2013. This season, the Dodgers lost in five games to the eventual NL-champion Mets in the Division Series.
The Marlins' managerial position was in flux throughout the 2015 season. Mike Redmond started the season as the skipper, but was relieved of his duties after Miami started 16-22. In an unprecedented move, GM Dan Jennings shed his suit for a uniform and took over as manager for the remainder of the season, posting a 55-69 record.
At the end of the season, the Marlins moved Jennings back to the general manager's role.
