Craig Gentry, who played with the Rangers from 2009-2013 and the A’s from 2014-2015, is staying in the AL West by signing a one-year deal with the Angels.
Gentry’s speed and ability to play all three outfield spots make him a solid backup, but he hasn’t hit enough to be a quality regular in recent years.
