And to no one's surprise, Marte swiped his 15th big Saturday against the Giants, keeping pace with Henderson.
Earlier this week, Marte matched Adam Kennedy by getting 26 hits over his first 15 games with the A's, the most since the franchise relocated to Oakland in 1968.
Overall, Marte is hitting .337 over his first 20 games in an A's uniform, making a major impact after coming over in a trade for highly touted pitcher Jesús Luzardo from the Miami Marlins.

Marte's importance in the lineup was magnified after A's outfielder Ramón Laureano tested positive for a banned substance and was suspended 80 games by MLB several weeks ago.
