It was a short outing for Chicago White Sox starter Lance Lynn who exited Wednesday’s game against the Athletics after only four innings.
It appeared after a foreign substance check, Lynn was walking around the dugout, when he shouted something at the umpires. He then threw his belt onto the field and, a source tells NBC Sports California, he was ejected after he said a few things to the officials.

For now, it doesn’t appear the ejection specifically was foreign substance-related but in regards to Lynn’s actions.
White Sox manager Tony La Russa was also conversing with the umpire when this happened.
In four frames, Lynn struck out four, walking three giving up one earned run.
