The Athletics are bringing back a familiar face this season.
The club announced on Saturday that they agreed to a one-year deal with veteran infielder Jed Lowrie.

Lowrie, who turns 38 in April, will return to Oakland for his seventh season with the A’s throughout three separate stints. He has also played with the Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros and New York Mets.
The former All-Star hit .245 with 14 homers and 69 RBI in 139 games during the 2021 season.
Earlier this week, the A’s reunited with another guy who knows his way around the ballpark. Catcher Stephen Vogt, 37 reached an agreement to rejoin the A’s for his eighth season in Oakland.
