Three players ranked among the A’s Top 10 prospects will play in the Arizona Fall League’s All-Star Game set for Saturday.

Left-hander Sean Manaea, third baseman Renato Nunez, and middle infielder Chad Pinder will suit up for the East squad in the game played at Salt River Fields. First pitch is 5pm (PT) and MLB Network will carry the game live.

Manaea, ranked as Oakland’s No. 3 prospect by mlb.com and their top-rated pitcher, last threw for the Mesa Solar Sox on Monday, which lines him up nicely to be available to pitch in Saturday’s showcase. Manaea, 23, was dominant with the A’s Double-A Midland squad after he was acquired from Kansas City in late July. He is 0-2 with a 5.63 ERA in four starts in the AFL.

Nunez, 21, the A’s No. 6 prospect, turned heads with a three-homer game early in the AFL season, and he’s one of the best power hitters in Oakland’s farm system. He’s hitting .264 with four homers and eight RBI in 13 games.

Pinder’s stock rose this season as he was named the Double-A Texas League’s Player of the Year, after hitting .317 with 15 home runs and a league-leading 86 RBI. The 23-year-old Pinder, the A’s No. 7 prospect, was playing second base when Addison Russell was still in the system but moved back to shortstop for the 2015 season. He’s splitting time between second and short in the AFL.

All three players figure to be invited to major league spring camp.

Poole: Why Rickey was, for too short a time, the best among us

Shortstop Franklin Barreto, the A’s consensus No. 1 overall prospect, is seeing some time in left and center field while playing in the Venezuelan League this offseason. A’s general manager David Forst said the team has expressed to Barreto the importance of being versatile, and that the 19-year-old will see some time at second base in 2016, which he’s most likely to begin at Double-A. Barreto is hitting .184 with two homers and eight RBI with Aguilas de Zulia in Venezuela.
