ESPN's Jeff Passan reported Wednesday that Betts' 12-year extension is worth $365 million, putting his 13-year total at $392 million.
Betts was traded from the Boston Red Sox to the Dodgers this offseason in a blockbuster deal that hit many snags. Ultimately, though, the star outfielder became a Dodger. Now, he will call Hollywood his home for over the next decade.
The 27-year-old outfielder hit .295 with 29 homers and 16 stolen bases last season, and was voted the AL MVP the year before when he hit .346 with 32 homers and 30 stolen bases. Betts has won four straight Gold Glove awards and three Silver Sluggers in the last four years.

Betts was set to hit free agency after the 60-game shortened season, but clearly has fallen in love with LA and the Dodgers. As Opening Day approaches, the Dodgers are seen as World Series favorites by many, and that can continue for years to come with Betts in their lineup.
The Dodgers locking up Betts long-term certainly spells bad news for the Giants. Los Angeles has won seven straight NL West titles and is flushed with talent. San Francisco already was facing an uphill climb with the Dodgers, the obstacle just became that much steeper.
