PIRATES BOX SCORE
Andrew McCutchen singled in three at-bats Sunday for the Pirates, which puts his average at .329. He trails Buster Posey, who had the day off in San Diego, by .008 points heading into the season's final three games.
McCutchen snapped an 0-for-16 slump with a walk-off home run Saturday, but the skid still allowed Posey to pass him in the race for the National League batting title.

Posey, meanwhile, had six hits in his last 15 at-bats heading into his day of rest Sunday. Posey's Giants have three games against the Dodgers in Los Angeles, while McCutchen's Pirates close out their schedule with three home contests against the Atlanta Braves.
