Marshawn Lynch makes plea to Oakland City Council on behalf of A's

The Warriors are leaving Oakland for San Francisco next year.

The Raiders are leaving Oakland for Las Vegas in 2020.

The A's? They will be the last team standing in Oakland when the dust settles, and they have announced plans for a new stadium at Howard Terminal. But the stadium plan still faces plenty of hurdles before shovels can hit dirt.

Oakland's own Marshawn Lynch wants to make sure the city doesn't somehow lose the A's too, so on Wednesday night, he went to the a city council meeting and made a plea to the members.

"We're losing the Warriors. We're losing the Raiders. Best not lose the A's. Appreciate it," Lynch said in a brief statement.
