Kyler Murray did it all once again for the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday in their 37-27 win over the Iowa State Cyclones.
The dual-threat quarterback was a force with his feet and his arm as a one-man show. Murray, a 5-foot-10 quarterback, completed 21 of his 29 pass attempts for 348 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also added 77 yards rushing on 15 carries.
Through his first three games this season, Murray is having a nearly identical season to the quarterback he replaced -- Heisman winner Baker Mayfield. Murray is literally one yard off Mayfield's first three contest.

Murray has totaled 1,032 total yards in three straight wins this season while Mayfield was one yard ahead last year at 1,033. Both quarterbacks had 10 total touchdowns in their first three games.
The difference between the two is how they earned their yards. Murray has been a true dual-threat while Mayfield hurt teams later in the season with his feet.
Murray has thrown for 863 yards and eight touchdowns in the air while adding another 169 yards rushing and two scores. Mayfield's first three games in 2017 saw him throw for 1,046 yards and 10 touchdowns while losing 13 yards on the ground.

The real difference, though is the two were drafted eight picks apart -- Mayfield went No. 1 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft to the Cleveland Browns, and Murray was the No. 9 pick in the 2018 MLB Draft to the Oakland A's.
