There is something important that requires your attention. There are at least FOUR current and former A's players that possess Pokémon-like hair.

I know, this is the content you crave.

Recently, a baseball writer, Shanna Shi, took to Twitter to highlight this dynamic (and they were brilliantly done) that has taken over Baseball Twitter, and here are some of the highlights:

Current A's pitcher Daniel Mengden looks like Kricketune:

Upon looking at the Pokémon Database (yes, I actually researched this) -- I was curious to know if Mengden possessed any of Kricketune's characteristics.

Plus, it has a way of crossing its arms and making noises. Kind of like this:

Former 3B Josh Donaldson has Ninetales flow:

This is a compliment if you think about it.

Ninetales' special powers? If you touch one of its many tails, it could result in a 1,000-year curse.

So, don't touch his hair.

OF Khris Davis -- is actually Walrein?

Walrein is fierce apparently -- so this seems pretty fitting. It has a tendency to shatter ice with its tusks. And when it comes to Khrush Davis, well:

Former A's pitcher, Sean Doolittle is Arcanine

Oh -- you see it. We all see it.

According to the database, this little thing is considered a legend in China -- and what more do you want from that?

It's also said to "have captured the hearts of people since long ago."

So, there's that.
