Clayton Kershaw is bound for the disabled list.

Prior to the Dodgers' game in Milwaukee on Thursday, manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Kershaw received an epidural in his lower back on Wednesday.

Los Angeles sent Kershaw home on Tuesday to undergo tests.

The three-time Cy Young winner allowed four runs over six innings in his last outing on Sunday.

Prior to that, he was 11-1 with a 1.57 ERA over his first 15 starts.

Entering Thursday, the Giants lead the Dodgers by six games in the NL West.
