If you're a Giants fan on Twitter, you've seen this everywhere. Even if you're not a Giants fan, one of these probably has been shared on your timeline.
By now it should be clear what we're talking about. Vince McMahon GIFs have taken over Twitter, all thanks to the handle @gggiants. Dave has gained 250 followers -- he has over 5,100 -- since his tweets of the GIFs started taking off a little over two weeks ago.
NBC Sports Bay Area caught up with Dave to talk about why he started doing the McMahon GIFs for Giants games and news, which one is his favorite, his thoughts on the team and more.

Q: How long have you been doing the GIFs?
Dave: I started the GIFs sometime around the end of June, when the Giants were still 6 1/2 games or so out of the wild card. I'd been using a Vince McMahon meme (with pictures of him getting progressively more excited) whenever the Giants would bring up another outfielder as a running joke, and it just kind of morphed into using Vince memes during the games.
How did you know when it started to become "a thing?"
I think I realized it was taking off when people would start to respond to me with their own Vince GIFs, rather than just commenting or liking the ones I tweeted. Eventually people started tweeting their own Vince GIFs and tagging me in them, rather than just responding. And then when the Giants started going on a roll, they just became more and more prevalent.

I have no idea why, honestly. I think people just figured they were winning, something was working, just go with it until the wheels fall off. Then last week, I noticed that the Sporting News actually used a Vince GIF for something totally not Giants related -- that's when I knew it had a following.
Do you have a favorite McMahon GIF?
That's like asking a parent to pick a favorite child. Vince McMahon might be the most GIF-able person alive today, he just has so many great ones. There are a few that I go to more often than others, including him sitting back in his chair and looking interested, and one of him rolling his eyes in the back of his head and falling over in his chair.
That's a great one for a walkoff win.
Is there a way that McMahon and the WWE signifies/epitomizes the Giants?
Jeez, I don't know. Honestly, it just started as a stupid bit to make the games a little more fun when the Giants were terrible. I think the bravado and machismo that Vince puts out there was a pretty funny/ironic thing to associate with the Giants when they were in the cellar of the National League.
Like, yes, their record was awful, but hey, they were only six out! And then they actually started to win, so the irony part is lost but it's still a fun bit that people seem to rally around and enjoy. Do the Giants have anything to do with Vince McMahon? No, nothing. That's what makes the whole thing so absurd/funny.
What GIF do you think best describes this Giants season?
There's a GIF of Vince laid out flat on his back, then he slowly raises his head, turns and looks at the camera, and flashes a maniacial, knowing smile like he's still got it all figured out. If that isn't the 2019 Giants, I don't know what is.
Should the Giants have been buyers or sellers at the trade deadline?
I think Farhan was in a tough spot, but I'm not a fan of punting a season when you're in contention, no matter how tenuous it might be. They're within striking distance of the wild card, no one in the NL seems to be running away with it, and the Giants have already proven that a wild card can go all the way.

Can this team go all the way? I have no idea. The odds are against them, but all they have to do is get in. And if you have a chance to get in this late in the season, you might as well see it through because you just never know.
