Here are the projected number of wins the A's, Giants will have in 2019

The Hot Stove remained lukewarm for the most part this offseason, but that has a lot to do with the fact that we are waiting for the decisions from a couple of big names.

Ahem -- Bryce Harper and Manny Machado.

Until that happens, we are lucky enough to have Las Vegas projections on MLB win totals for next season:

The A's are estimated to have 83 wins this year and the Giants are quite a bit a ways behind sitting at a projected 73 wins -- right above the White Sox, who are a big name in the Machado/Harper sweepstakes.

These are just projections, so don't give up on your favorite team just yet. Well -- you should never give up on your favorite team, but that's beside the point.

There aren't many surprises from first glance.

Three Giants breakout candidates to watch entering 2025 season

The defending World Series champion Boston Red Sox are estimated to have 95.5 wins. Just 2.5 behind the Houston Astros, who took home the trophy in 2017.

The New York Yankees sit right ahead of the Sox with 96.5 wins after making a few upgrades to their roster.

And at the bottom with a projected 59 wins? The Baltimore Orioles, who finished last season with only 47 wins.
