Zack Greinke passed his physical examination on Monday, officially making him the newest member of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Greinke signed a six-year contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers worth $147 million, which is the second largest contract signed by a pitcher since CC Sabathia signed his 2009 contract with the New York Yankees.
With Greinke's new contract the Los Angeles Dodgers 2013 payroll is expected to top $200 million, which would be a first for any team in Major League Baseball history.
