Are you ready for some baseball? I sure hope so. 

The Giants return from an off day to begin a two-day series against the Blue Jays in Toronto.

Jeff Samardzija received starting honors for the Orange and Black and sits at a 1-1 record, boasting a 2.91 ERA. But, he's 2-0 with a 0.39 ERA in three career starts against the Jays.

Speaking of the Jays, righty Trent Thornton will start on the bump for Toronto and he will seek his first win of the season.

The Jays have won four in a row as they head into Tuesday's game after a three-game sweep against the A's in Oakland.
