Belt's Giants teammates made sure to be active on Twitter during the voting process to get him into the game. After the news came out that Belt won the vote, several of his teammates reacted to the news on Twitter.
And Belt showed his appreciation for the votes, too. In a video posted on Twitter by the Giants, Belt, who leads baseball with 27 doubles, sent the following message to his fans:
"I just want to say thank you so much to all the Giants fans out there who voted for me, and really, all the fans across the country who voted for me. This means the world to me and my family... I can't wait to get down to San Diego and play with my teammates."
