The Giants will be represented by two pitchers yet again at this year's Futures Game on July 10 during All-Star weekend at Petco Park in San Diego.
Last year's first-round draft pick for the Giants, Phil Bickford, and international arm Adalberto Mejia will be looking to toe the robber in San Diego. Bickford will represent Team USA while Mejia will don the uniform for Team World.
At last year's Futures Game, Giants pitching prospects Tyler Beede and Keury Mella were selected to the event.

Coming into this season, Bickford was the third ranked Giants prospect by Baseball America and second pitcher behind Beede. Mejia came in as No. 10 for San Francisco.
Bickford has enjoyed his first full season in the minors this year with impressive numbers at two levels after San Francisco took him with the No. 18 pick in last year's draft. In 13 games started between Full Season Single-A and Advanced Single-A, Bickford sports a 4-4 record with a 2.54 ERA and 89 strikeouts in 71 innings pitched.
Since being called up, Bickford is 1-1 with a 1.64 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched for the San Jose Giants. If he pitches in the Futures Game, he will be doing so on his 21st birthday.
Mejia, 23, was signed by the Giants as an international prospect out of the Dominican Republic in 2011 at 17 years old. Between Double-A and Triple-A this season, the lefty is 4-2 with a 2.18 ERA and has struck out 72 batters in 78.1 innings pitched.
