Hunter Bishop has some big goals this year once the baseball season begins.
He broke out last year for the Arizona State Sun Devils and was taken by the Giants with the No. 10 pick in the 2019 MLB Draft. Less than a year later, Bishop joined the big club in spring training for a handful of at-bats.
But with baseball pausing its seasons across all levels amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Bishop has plenty of time on his hands, and like the rest of us, he's finding ways to get creative.

In Bishop's case, he's making music.
"From a young age I've always had a side passion for creating music, and I've always had a passion for music myself," Bishop said in a recent video call with MLB.com's William Boor. "About three years ago I bought software to create music and started learning slowly how to create my own stuff, and it's just kept growing.
"I'd say prior to this season, this past offseason was the first time I took a serious to it and tried to connect to other artists and start putting something together."
Bishop released his first song "Hard To Find" on his SoundCloud in February. His favorite artist is Kygo, and he says he enjoys chill electric music.

With the use of technology and different online outlets like SoundCloud to upload your songs, this might be the most accessible time ever to create music. Bishop clearly is taking advantage of his resources and combining them with his passion.

"You can really make music anywhere," Bishop said. "When I'm locked down in the house like this, all you really need is a computer, some speakers, a few electronic sounds and the rest is digital. You're just sitting on your bed or your couch making some music.
"It's pretty easy, but I've been able to spend a lot of time on it with not being able to play baseball."
Bishop has created about 20 to 25 unreleased songs, and he is going to release two more in the coming months.
