Giants' Nady set for MRI after straining hamstring

SAN FRANCISCO -- Xavier Nady will undergo an MRI after straining his left hamstring and having to leave the game in the Giants' 6-2 loss to the Diamondbacks Wednesday at AT&T Park.

"He feels like it's minor but that's the player talking," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. "This is a blow for us."

Bochy added that both Brandon Belt and Ryan Theriot could see some time in left in Nady's absence.
