Giants' Brandon Crawford reacts to MLB's return with Bart Scott GIF

Most MLB players have been waiting for this day.

They wanted to know when and where they could report to "Spring Training 2.0," and MLB gave it to them Monday by saying they plan to implement a 60-game 2020 season, with the official announcement expected Tuesday.

Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford, who has been pretty vocal on Twitter during the contentious negotiations between the league and the union, reacted to the news with the iconic GIF of former New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott.

Certainly, Crawford and his fellow MLB players can't wait to get back to work.

The global coronavirus pandemic forced MLB to shut things down in the middle of spring training in March. Since then, the league and the MLB Players Association have been trading proposals on how to make the money work and start the 2020 season.

If the players agree Tuesday to report to their home cities on July 1, and approve the health and safety guidelines, Crawford and the rest of his Giants teammates will spend a few weeks at Oracle Park getting ready for the start of the season.
