Pence last played on June 1 in Atlanta when he tore his right hamstring running to first base.
The emotionally charged Pence arrived in San Francisco on Friday afternoon and posted a video of himself running around the baggage claim area.
While speaking with the media prior to Friday night's game, Pence said his "legs feel great.
With the Giants stumbling to a 2-11 mark to begin the second half, Pence hopes he can bring some energy to his reeling club.

“I play the game with a lot of emotion and energy and hopefully I can pour as much of that vibe onto the field and give them a little boost,” Pence said before Friday's game. "I intend to come ready to help.”
In 50 games this season, Pence is hitting .298/.375/.486 with 11 doubles, seven home runs and 36 RBI.
