
The A's were represented on the mound and in the field during Saturday's Arizona Fall League All-Star Game, known as the Fall Stars Game.
Sean Manaea, the headliner in a trade that sent Ben Zobrist from the A's to the Royals, received the starting nod on the hill for the East squad. And, he didn't disappoint.
Manaea, a 6-foot-5 left-hander, threw two scoreless innings while striking out four and only walking one batter. He didn't surrender one hit, tossing 31 pitches and 20 strikes.

Manaea is ranked as the A's No. 3 prospect by MLB.com.
Batting third and playing shortstop for the AFL East team was A's prospect, Chad Pinder.
Pinder, 23, went 1-for-4 with a single, but also committed a throwing error. The A's drafted him 71st overall in the 2013 MLB Draft out of Virginia Tech.
Pinder is ranked as the A's No. 7 prospect by MLB.com.

Rounding out the young A's products, was third baseman Renato Nunez.
The 21-year-old Venezuelan started at third base and batted seventh for AFL East. Nunez was hitless, going 0-for-2 with a strikeout.

The West defeated the East, 8-3.
