Charlie Culberson was the toast of Los Angeles in September thanks to his walk-off home run that won the NL West for the Dodgers.
But less than three months later, he's been removed from the Dodgers' 40-man roster.
Los Angeles outrighted the former Giants prospect to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.

The move reduces the Dodgers' 40-man roster to 39. With the Dodgers reportedly close to re-signing closer Kenley Jansen and third baseman Justin Turner, they will need to clear one more 40-man roster spot.
In 34 games for Los Angeles in 2016, Culberson hit .299/.309/.388 with three doubles, one home run and seven RBI.
Culberson was a first-round pick of the Giants in the 2007 MLB Draft. He was selected with the 51st overall pick. During the 2012 season, the Giants dealt Culberson to Colorado for Marco Scutaro.
