Coco Crisp was scratched from the A's game with the Minnesota Twins with an injured left shoulder, Glen Kuiper and Ray Fosse announced on Saturday's Comcast SportsNet California game broadcast.
Crisp is also expected to miss Sunday's series finale and take advantage of the A's natural off-day on Monday to get the shoulder healthy.
Crisp, 32, hurt his shoulder while swinging from the right side of the plate late in the A's 6-3 win over the Twins on Friday. He struck out against Francisco Liriano in the eighth inning and finished the game 0-for-4, and Fosse guessed it came when he swing an missed at a change-up in the dirt.

Crisp missed a span of 16 games earlier this season with a virus and inner ear infection, but he's been getting more comfortable at the place since his return on May 21.
A switch from No. 2 in the lineup to the leadoff spot helped as well.
He is batting .287 leading off with a .348 on-base percentage, lightyears better than his .198 clip and .245 OBP in the two hole.
With those numbers, Crisp will likely remain atop the order when he returns.
