Tuesday's lineup: Giants manager Bruce Bochy hosted his gameday meeting with the media from inside the visiting dugout at O.Co Coliseum Tuesday afternoon, announcing most notably that Brandon Crawford will not play against the A's after suffering a sprained thumb.
Crawford dove for a ball in the hole Monday night at AT&T Park and injured his left thumb, though it is not expected to be serious.
Bochy said his lineup for Monday's game would likely mirror that of Opening Day. Tuesday's lineup looks a little different with three personnel adjustments.

Here is the Giants' lineup for Tuesday night, their penultimate spring tune-up:
1. Blanco -- RF
2. Cabrera -- LF
3. Sandoval -- 3B
4. Huff -- DH
5. Belt -- 1B
6. Pagan -- CF
7. Theriot -- 2B
8. Burriss -- SS
9. Whiteside -- C
Cain -- P
All eyes on Cain: Matt Cain is set to make his first post-contract start. Bochy said the staff would "keep an eye on him," but aside from the 70-80 pitch cap, it will be very much like a regular season start for Cain.
Injury-front: Freddy Sanchez got in four minor league innings Tuesday, and Bochy said that, while he is showing improvement, "he's not ready. He's still a couple weeks away."

Final adjustments: After going 17-14 in their first 31 Cactus League games, the Giants can't wait for the regular season to start.
"I think we're ready," Bruce Bochy said.
There was one area the skipper indicated he wanted to improve upon, and Giants fans might sympathize. "I'd like to see us get on the board early," Bochy offered.
How many catchers?: Bochy was asked if Hector Sanchez has done enough to make the team, and Bochy seemed shocked by the question. "Sure he's done enough," he responded. "He's done all he can do -- terrific spring."
Bochy was impressed the "big strides" Sanchez has made defensively, citing his work in winter ball as a reason for the progress.
Behind Buster Posey, it remains to be seen how many catchers the Giants will carry. "It's a matter of two or three," Bochy said. Chris Stewart was the first off the bench Monday, and Eli Whiteside will start Tuesday.
Bochy said Posey will catch Wednesday in the Giants' final spring game before using the natural day off to prepare for Opening Day April 6 in Arizona.
Last chance?: The Giants still have some roster moves to make public, but the decisions seem to already have been made. There won't be too much pressure on players to make a final impression, as Bochy said that he has spoken with every member of the team about where they are headed.
"We'll probably announce roster moves before tomorrow's game," Bochy closed with.
