Brett Anderson throws 35 pitches in rehab debut

Brett Anderson made his first rehab start for the Stockton Ports on Saturday night, and had one good inning, and one not-so-good inning.

It was a 1-2-3 first inning for Anderson, who induced two ground outs and a fly ball.

In the second he allowed a lead-off single, but retired the next to batters. Then he got into trouble.

Anderson surrendered an RBI double, two singles, and hit a batter in sequential order, before retiring the side.

When the dust settled, he allowed two runs on four hits and hit a batter.
