Bochy pens first lineup; Belt at DH

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Giants manager Bruce Bochy penned his first lineup of 2012, and he found a way to get Brandon Belt in there.

The Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to use a designated hitter for Saturday's Cactus League opener. Belt was the choice. Aubrey Huff, as planned, is starting at first base.

Here's the full lineup:

CF Angel Pagan
LF Melky Cabrera
1B Aubrey Huff
3B Pablo Sandoval
RF Nate Schierholtz
DH Brandon Belt
2B Mike Fontenot
SS Brandon Crawford
C Chris Stewart

This won't be the Giants' opening-day lineup, obviously. Buster Posey, who could make his spring debut in a few days, is expected to bat cleanup. Bochy will have to decide whether to hit Sandoval or Huff third. For now, it appears Pagan and Cabrera will get a look as the Nos. 1-2 hitters.

Arizona will pitch "hatchet man" Josh Collmenter, who is likely to pitch an inning or two. Tim Lincecum is expected to throw one inning for the Giants. Also on the list of possible pitchers: Giants flamethrowing prospect Heath Hembree.

Arizona's lineup is a split squad, so not all their regulars are making the trip:
