SIGN UP HERE When Marcus Semien grounded out in his first at-bat, it didn't figure to be a career-night for the A's shortstop. However, he followed up with a three-run triple in the second and a three-run home run in the third to set a career-high with six RBI. He finished the night with seven.
Semien became the second A’s shortstop with at least seven RBI in a game, joining Miguel Tejada. He is the first A’s leadoff hitter ever to drive in seven runs in a game.
Mark Canha stays scorching hot
Reigning AL Player of the Week Mark Canha kept rolling along with singles in each of his first three at-bats. He finished the night 3-for-6 and is now 19-for-42 during his current 10-game hitting streak.

Canha has notched multiple hits in four straight games and seven of his last nine. And, oh, by the way, he also made two highlight-reel catches in center field.
Seth Brown has MLB debut to remember
After spending nearly five full seasons in the minors, 27-year-old Seth Brown made his major league debut and it was a productive one. He singled in each of his first two at-bats, driving in his first career run in the third inning.
Brown finished the game 2-for-6 with his parents in attendance.
Milestone for Matt Chapman
Matt Chapman crushed a 447-foot home run in the seventh inning for his 30th long ball of the season. He becomes just the third Oakland third baseman to notch a 30-homer season, joining Eric Chavez and Sal Bando.
Chapman is also the first A's player with 30 home runs and 30 doubles in a season since 2002, and just the seventh player in Oakland history.

Every A's starter gets in on the fun
This was truly a team effort. Every single A's starter recorded at least one hit and scored at least one run. That's not easy to do.
Josh Phegley led the way with four hits, while he, Khris Davis and Jurickson Profar each scored a team-high three runs. Davis belted his 19th home run of the season in the ninth inning.
