Kyler Murray was on Cloud Nine on Saturday night in New York. Six months after being the No. 9 overall pick in the MLB Draft by the A's, the Oklahoma Sooners quarterback won the Heisman Trophy.
Then late into the night/early Sunday morning, Murray had to turn to Twitter to apologize for poor decisions he made when he was 14 and 15 years old.

After winning the highest honor in college football, old tweets that Murray surely wishes he could take back surfaced Several tweets show him using a homophobic slur in 2012.
Fast forward to 2018, and Murray is 21 years old. He hasn't found himself in any true controversy aside from causing Twitter debates over what sport he should play professionally.
Murray's next task on the football field is taking on top-ranked Alabama at the Orange Bowl in the College Football Playoff semifinals Dec. 29.
