
After giving up four runs in five innings of Oakland's 4-0 loss in Minnesota Wednesday, Tyson Ross was optioned to Triplle-A Sacramento, the A's announced.Ross fell to 2-6 after the loss to the Twins and owns a 5.94 ERA this season. The A's made Ross the final cut of spring training, but called him up to the big leagues on April 17. Ross started strong, going 1-0 with a 2.13 ERA in his first two starts, but has struggled since, with a 7.34 ERA and 1-6 record over his last seven assignments.Ross returns to Sacramento, where he went 0-1 with a 4.00 ERA in two starts with the River Cats.
