A's notes: Bullpen remains unbeaten when leading after seven innings

OAKLAND — For the second night in a row, the A's picked up a one-run victory over the Detroit Tigers. Oakland improved to 21-9 in one-run games, the best record in the majors.

That should be to no one's surprise, given the strength of the bullpen. Blake Treinen and Lou Trivino combined for the final eight outs Saturday night, as they often do.

Oakland is the only team in MLB that is undefeated when leading after seven innings, now 45-0. They are 53-0 when leading after eight.

--- The A's have won a season-high seven straight home games, as well as 13 of their last 15 at the Coliseum. For the season, Oakland is 31-22 at home, and 35-24 on the road.

--- The Athletics are 11-4 since the All-Star break, the best record in MLB. They have now won 32 of their last 42 games.

--- Oakland improved to 31-8 when hitting two or more home runs in a game. They are 26-17 when hitting one homer, and 9-21 when hitting none.

--- Khris Davis has nine home runs since the All-Star break, tied with Cardinals infielder Matt Carpenter for the most in MLB.
