John Henry and Tom Werner tried to hire Billy Beane once, but they haven't come calling a second time.
Beane, the A's executive vice president of baseball operations, appeared on the Liverpool Echo's Blood Red podcast, and was asked if the analytics-focused Boston Red Sox owners, who also oversee Liverpool FC, have tried to coax him to the newly crowned Premier League champions.

Since then, the Red Sox have won three more championships (2007, 2013 and 2018).

Liverpool claimed the Premier League title last month, ending their 30-year drought without a top-flight league championship. They've also won the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup in the past 13 months.
Beane was promoted from GM to his current role with the A's in 2015. And it appears he's happy right there.
