Arrest made after attack in AT&T Park bathroom

After an attack occurred in an AT&T Park bathroom during Sunday's Giants-Dodgers game, a suspect has been arrested, according to a report.

The San Jose Mercury News cited San Francisco police officer Albie Esparaza as saying that 26-year-old Christopher Torii Smith was arrested for his alleged role in the incident.

The victim, 21, suffered a lip laceration after Smith allegedly approached him in the bathroom and attacked him even after knocking him to the ground.

Esparaza said that Smith was taken into custody in Lefty O'Doul Plaza and booked on suspicion of battery, vandalism and public intoxication.

The Mercury News also reports that Smith is set for a May 2013 trial for fatally injuring two people while allegedly driving under the influence of marijuana on Dec. 30.
