Reliever Andrew Bailey has a new home.

After spending the first four months of the season with the Phillies, the 2009 AL Rookie of the Year signed a minor league deal with the Angels Saturday.

The move was announced via the Angels' transaction page.

Bailey will report to Triple-A Salt Lake, according to the Orange Country Register's Jeff Fletcher.

The 32-year-old Bailey was released by the Phillies on August 6 after posting a 6.40 ERA in 32.1 innings over 33 appearances this season.

After three successful seasons with the A's from 2009 to 2011, which included two All-Star Game selections, Bailey has bounced around from the Red Sox to the Yankees to the Phillies. Now he returns to the AL West.

Originally drafted in the sixth round of the 2006 MLB Draft by Oakland, Bailey was traded to Boston following the 2011 season in a deal that brought Josh Reddick, among others, back to the A's. In parts of four seasons since leaving Oakland, Bailey has a 5.51 ERA in 85 innings over 92 appearances.
